Windows 10: No sign in options available when presented with challenge phrase prompt.

My daughter tried to sign in to my son's PC . After entering the pin incorrectly many times I am presented with the challenge phrase which no one knows what that would be. The are no alternate sign in options and shift + restart the PC wont allow me to reset the PC. What options do I have to go beyond this or bringing back alternate signing options?

I have received the A1B2C3 challenge phrase. I do not know the phrase. The sign I options is not present. The only way to sign in is with the phrase. How can I recover this? Thank you

First, "Challenge Phrase" is a new approach taken by Microsoft to thwarting brute force attacks or cyber trespassers. This attack involves a simple process of trying all common or likely PIN codes over and over until the correct code is finally discovered.
When a PIN gets entered incorrectly four times in a row, users are sent to a different screen where they are requires to enter a specific phrase.

May I know what are you trying to do before the challenge phrase prompted?

And what do you mean by nothing happens? Did this mean you where directed to another windows?

Kindly give further details so I can suggest or give you a step by step procedure to fix this.

Windows 11 Sign Issues with Challenge Phrase

Hello,

I am stuck in an endless loop, with the challenge phrase and pin. If i start up my laptop it asks for a challenge phrase i enter it and then enter my pincode never changed it and it worked before. Now it says "This sign in option is disabled" it is my only way to sign in on my laptop. How do i fix it?
