Windows 10: No signal after "update and restart with no internet"

I restarted and updated my pc after i put in a new gpu. I didnt realise but i had no internet connection and now my pc wont even give a signal anymore. I tried swapping gpus resetting cmos and everything. NOTHING WORKS please help

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

• What update did you install?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

We suggest you to disable Internet Explorer from optional features and enable it again. To do so, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + R on your keyboard, type optionalfeatures
  and hit OK.
• Uncheck the checkbox with Internet Explorer 11 written against the box and restart your computer.
• After restart, check the box in optionalfeatures and restart again. Then, launch IE.

weak internet signal

If you're referring to the Wi-Fi signal being weak on your laptop, it may be due to the following factors: location of your router or wireless modem, distance of your laptop from the Wi-Fi source, or could be that the wireless adapter on your laptop needs
updating.

For us to sort this out, help me verify the following:

• Are you using a router or a wireless modem?
• If yes, where is it located and how far is it from your laptop?
• Can you detect other wireless network in the area? If yes, how's the signal?
