    No sound after blue screen.


    I was playing with a gyro ball, it fell, and I don't know if it hit the computer but a blue screen popped up, when the computer turned on, everything was ok but it doesn't detect my sound or microphone how do i fix it?

    Startup Blue Screen

    Hi Jon,

    Startup blue screen error(s) can occur if a problem causes your PC to shut down or restart unexpectedly. It could be due to the following:

    • Outdated device software drivers
    • Corrupted Windows update system files
    • Software/Security conflicts

    Blue Screen Problems

    How long did you let memtest run for? I would let it run overnight. Did you try running something like Intel Burn Test? It sounds like you took the steps I would suggest. I had that same motherboard (and E8400) and when I had that BSOD it was always memory related.
