    No sound after rebooting my Windows 7 desk top.


    I have a Windows 7 HPE-400y PC. I have lost sound quite a few times. I download Windows 7 Realtek HD Audio Driver & then the sound is fine. My speakers & sound system work correctly. If I shut down my computer & reboot it later the sound is lost. I have tried Windows trouble shooting but no help here. I again download the Realtek driver & the sound is fine as long as I do not turn off my computer. The computer was purchased 1-14-2011 but it otherwise works OK for us. A little slow at time but no other issues. I have Norton 360 installed & run scans on a regular basis. In t

    no sound on my hp envy23 desk top .I did a clean wipe and a reinstall of windows.but cant get no sound

    windows 7 on desk top and lap top and wife's 365

    My question,

    I have an old Dell lap top and I have an old desk top, the Dell has windows 10 and my desk top has windows 7. I bought her a new lap top a few years back and it has windows 365 on it, is there anyway that I can piggyback onto her 365 with my other two computers?

    Thanks to anyone who can look at or even better, come up with solution.

    Windows Mobile Device Center on Desk Top

    Since you already tried the compatibility settings and other troubleshooting steps, we suggest that you uninstall the newest update to isolate the issue. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • On the Search bar, type in Programs and Features and select the top most result.
    • On the left menu, select View installed updates.
    • Right click on the newest update and click Uninstall.

    Monitor the Windows Mobile Device Center and see if there are any changes. If possible, try to reinstall the update and see if the Windows Mobile Device Center will still work.

    Kindly get back to us with the results.
