    No sound after running directx end-user runtime


    I'll try my best to detail the order of operations that led to this issue. Bear with me I am not a computer person.-I installed Snowrunner from Steam games and tried to play it. It would not open. An internet search turned up possible DirectX issues and suggested running DirectX End-User Runtime.-I searched for this and ended up on a microsoft site and downloaded and ran dxwebsetup.exe version 9.29.1974.1-After this Snowrunner worked fine.-Next day i turn on computer and there is no sound. -I checked and updated all drivers for the sound controllers including Realtek audio, NVIDIA High Def

    Please tell what is the difference between DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) and DirectX End-User Runtime (Web Installer) ?

    Dear Microsoft!

    I want ask for help with DirectX isuue.

    I have Win10-64bit operating system and i want to run old games on it, however anyone which uses direcx 9 version have problems while running.

    I have downloaded the official End-User runtime

    Download DirectX End-User Runtime from Official Microsoft Download Center

    installed it - the installation was successful, but with the applications nothing has changed!

    I needd assistance what else methods are to fullify Dxend-user runtime.
