I recorded a vinyl single using Audacity 3.1.3 and was able to play it back through Audacity. However when I tried to play the MP3 file that I had created normally through Windows there was no sound although it played correctly on another Windows computer.I subsequently found that although 'Sound' is setup correctly in the Control Panel, it will not play system sounds or my Sound CDs. It would seem as if there is a problem with my sound system in the computer. NB: I play sound via the HDMI cable through my TV.I tried doing a full spyware scan, and antivirus scan in case there was a virus or

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue No Sound.
