Windows 10: No sound in Windows 10

Last night i just put my laptop to sleep and then when i turned it back on it was running fine but there was no sound.

There is no sound from any application so (youtube,vlc)

I checked all my volume panels are up to 100% and not muted

I tried system restore image of 1 week back and still the same problem exists.

I have tried:

Uninstalling the sound driver

Re installing the sound driver

Downloading the original sound driver from the manufacturer's site and installing that.

Running windows audio troubleshooter.

Checked if my "Windows Audio Services" are running and set to automatic.

Alsi there was no windows update installed the day on which my sound stopped working.

I really don't know how this could be a hardware problem.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue
