  1. No sound on fresh Windows 10

I just installed windows on my Mac with bootcamp. I have no sound whatsoever. I have had this problem before, It was some series of driver updates, reinstalls and restarts, but I can't remember how I did it. If I right click on any audio related driver it says the device is working properly. I tried switching sound sources, doing literally everything to my drivers, restarting the computer several times, and nothing will turn the sound back on. If I go to sound settings, the sound bar is going up and down like it's detecting sound, but It is never played. The troubleshooter didn't do anything for me either. Last time this happened, there was no audio from the headphones, then after a restart it was the whole computer, and then my mic wouldn't receive input either. What do I do to fix this?

    :)

  3. Sound problem

    Hi,

We need to investigate further so that we can identify the cause of the issue. We suggest running the Troubleshooter and see if it helps. Follow the steps below:

    • Type and select Troubleshooting on the Search bar/Cortana.
    • Click Hardware and Sound.
    • Select Playing Audio under Sound.
    • Follow the steps that will be provided.
If the steps does not work. We suggest downloading a fresh copy of the audio driver from Realtek and see if it helps.

    Looking forward to your response.

No sound on fresh Windows 10

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
