    No sound on Windows 10 Pro UNLESS zoom is on?


    I have Windows 10 Pro running on a Dell laptop. The laptop will not play sound from videos, etc UNLESS I am logged in and my mic is active in Zoom. When I close the zoom meeting, the videos go silent again. Any recommendations for troubleshooting? Thanks!

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    Pinch screen zoom

    Thanks for your reply but there is no pinch zoom option for my windows 10 surface pro 5th edition, or at least going through your steps I can't find it. Any other suggestions would be great.

    Hi,

    I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

    • If you have a mouse with a wheel, hold down the Ctrl key, and then scroll the wheel to zoom in or out.
    • From the keyboard, you can increase or decrease the zoom value in 10% increments. To zoom in, press Ctrl + (+). To zoom out, press Ctrl + (-). To restore the zoom to 100%, press Ctrl+0.
