Windows 10: No sound out of laptop after latest Windows 11 update

I have an new MSI-M16 B13VE laptop running Windows 11 Pro. After the latest update it has no sound output and no error messages. The sound devices are detected speakers or headset. The trouble shooters cannot fix this.Have left information on feedback hub. There are many others with the same issue on their PC's but so far I cannot find any other information.I swapped out the M.2 and installed a Linux Distro to test the laptop and the sound works fine.Put the origional M.2 back but still no sound from Windows.Next step will be a fresh install but I am waiting a while to see if this gets fixed

No sound after installing latest updates on Windows 10

• What is the make and model of your device?
• Are you able to access any of the system sounds on your computer?

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated audio drivers after performing reset on your device.

Let us try few of the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter as it checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Hardware and Device
  options from the list.
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device

Step 2: I suggest you to check if there are any drivers with yellow exclamatory mark in the Device Manager.

• Press Windows + X from the keyboard, click on
  Device Manager.
• Right click on the detected driver, click on Properties
