Windows 10: No sound via HDMI connection? display does work

My new second hand laptop Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 with latest windows 11 updated doesn't play audio through TV when connected with HDMI cable. HDMI works fine with audio via other laptop. When going to sound settings i cannot add a device or change output device in settings. When checking device manager I could not find a display audio or something similar in device manager under sound, video and game controller. I can only find Intel smart sound tech and RealtekR Audio. I already tried restarting the laptop and also updating to the latest version. Now I really don't know what to do.

HDMI Sound Not Working

#1 I have HDMI sound issues. The video comes through the Sony AVAMP display but the sound will not come through the home theater system. The sound works fine when I switch to the Sony from the Lenovo computer. I can use Bluetooth to connect to portable speakers which replays the sound. There is a SONY AVAMP driver which I'll go about attempting to delete and reboot the system to see if it will re-install. I'll come back to this page and update the results. #2 My follow up message. Deleting the Sony AVAMP driver and restarting installed the driver again, but it still did not solve the problem. I'm not getting sound through the HDMI system. Suggestions please, thank you.

 

Why exactly is ATi considered be better at HDMI?

Sound works fine only issue with me is underscan when connecting to my tv.
