Windows 10: No sparta? Tried windows update ten times last night-nothing showed up

16 GB Ram

I read about new update with browser being available yesterday. I came home from work and went to settings and clicked update periodically through the night with no luck. Not sure what is going on here. I thought maybe it was contained in the other update I had the other night, with no luck. Build on bottom of screen is showing 9926. Any assistance is appreciated.

Build 10130 wont upgrade to newer builds

Im on a Surface Pro 3 and downloaded the insider preview of windows 10 last night. Now that new builds have come out I have tried to download them, however when I check for updates nothing shows up. I have done this a bunch of times and have also troubleshooted
for errors in windows update and nothing has changed. I am also on the fast ring as well. Help?

 

Windows 10 update: Audio jack no longer working

Audio issue. Windows updated last night: Feb 13, 2016.

I have sound out the front, but nothing out the rear jack. Tried all sorts of uninstall/reinstall drivers, but nothing seems to get the port working again.

Are you set to the download ne builds on the Fast Circle?

 

I had to change from "slow" to "fast" to get the new build to show up, but I already had build 10041. In the advanced options in settings/update change "Choose how preview builds are installed" to fast. What you want is build 10049 - I don't know if you will have to install 10041 first.

I would bet you have to install 10041 first.. MS is supporting update that occur in order and you can't skip a build.

 

10049 is a minor update concentrating on the new browser so I suspect Bunny is correct. Install 10041 first then run windows update.
