Windows 10: No speaker or headphones are plugged in "synaptic audio error code 52"

Dears,My laptop Lenovo stopped outputting sound with an error in taskbar audio button "No speaker or headphones are plugged in"and in device manager error "code 52"I tried to troubleshoot, update driver , disable device and unable it again and still the issue is exist Event ID: 411Problem: 0x34 Problem Status: 0xC0000428Thanks in advance,

No headphones or speakers are plugged in error

The little speaker icon on the toolbar has a red cross on it saying "No headphones or speakers are plugged in " when they are plugged in. I click on the speaker icon and it asks me to choose one to troubleshoot and I select my speakers, it says detecting
problem then gives an error "scripted diagnostics native host has stopped working". I click error and it gives me: error code: 0x800706BE path: C:\WINDOWS\Diagnostics\Index\AudioPlaybackDiagnostic.xml .

I have uninstalled/reinstalled drivers for it (realtek hd audio) , ran sfc /scannow (came back clean), tested that the speakers and headphones work with another OS (Ubuntu).

Are their any recommendation on what to do next?

Laptop speakers and plugged in headphone audio plays at the same time

Just downloaded the most recent Windows 10 update. But now, even when my headphones are plugged in, I get audio from both the headphone and the internal speakers. Instead of a separate "speaker" and "headphone" sections in the sounds menu, it's listed
as "Speaker/Headphone." Surely, this is not a feature people wanted. There is no problem when using Bluetooth headphones, just the audio jack.
