    Good Morning! Good Afternoon! Good evening!

    My Laptop: ASUS X555QG.

    Windows 10 1909.

    (Sorry for my English).

    It happened suddenly. The sound does not work with headphones and without headphones. I have tried to connect it to another dynamics, but also the same. Works when i connect it to TV, through HDMI. On right down corner on sound sign there is red circle. When touch the sign, there are written "No speakers or headphones are plugged in".

    I have this problem for already 3 month. What I have tried to solve this:

    • Launched the troubleshooter.

    • Already the variant with backup goes away.

    • Now, on device manager on "Sound, video and game controllers" are standing one driver called "AMD High Definitioin Audio Device ". Uninstalled the driver, then updated again. When uninstall, instead of this driver comes another driver. Both their ports is HDMI. So, sound works when i connect it to TV.

    • Have tried to install driver from my Laptop's official site (Conexant audio driver). When i launch "Setup.exe" gives an error, "Driver installation failed: can not find driver for this device". So I think the problem comes from this driver, that i can not install it.

    • Have tried DriverEasy program. Did not help.

    • And at the end, yesterday, I reinstalled my Windows 10, deleting all things from C. Completely cleaned my laptop. But Did not help.

    Speakers playing when headphones are plugged in

    I have an HP laptop with windows 10. When my headphones are plugged in, the speakers are still playing. When I go to sounds, the only device listed is the speakers. How can I silence the speakers when the headphones are plugged in.

    no sound plays through internal speakers

    I cannot get any sound to play through the internal speakers of my laptop. It did play previously. The speaker in the task bar has a red and white x and the trouble shooter says no speakers headphones plugged in. When I pull up the info on sound it lists
    its location at HDMI port. Suggestions?
