Windows 10: No stereo option for my Yeti headphone output

As of recent I've been having a pretty large problem with my sound, especially in games or any time sound is in a 3d environment. My issue is I can't hear things in front or behind of me, only things to the left or right. When something's in front, it sounds extremely far away. I did some research, and I found out the issue is that my audio is set up for 7.1 Surround, and the audio is trying to go to nonexistent center and rear speakers. However, when I tried to change it to regular stereo configuration, it doesn't give me the option, and I can't figure out how to make it do so. I run my audio

Stereo Bluetooth Headphones do not reproduce stereo sound

Bluetooth 4.x headsets (headphones with microphone) have two modes:
1. Stereo headset speakers with NO microphone
2. Mono headset speakers with microphone

I see in the listing for your headphones it shows a microphone. Make sure your the audio is configured correctly so that you have stereo headphone speakers.

With your headphones connected with Bluetooth

Left-click on little speaker (bottom right on desktop)





You should see current speaker for computer
In this example headphones in stereo is selected





If you click on Headphones you will bring up all options

Right-click on little speaker (bottom right on desktop)





Select Sounds from list





If you want Stereo Headphones but NO microphone

Select Playback tab
Make sure Headphones is the current playback device





Select Recording tab
Make sure Microphone array (or similar) is the current recording device

 

Problem getting stereo sound from headphones


I have an HP laptop, and my sound card is (displayed using PCIutils for Windows):

and I am finding difficulties in getting stereo sound from analogical headphones (plugged in with 3.5mm jack). Drivers downloaded from HP or Realtex do not work, drivers supplied by Windows (although they are Realtek drivers as well) sometimes work, I mean: speakers and headphones are shown together at the mixer, and sound from headphones is not stereo. I then go to device manager, audio input and output, and uninstall "Speakers/Headphones". I then reboot with my headphones plugged in, and, after that, the sound is stereo, and (IIRC) the mixer distinguishes between headphones and speakers.

But then things get broken back soon: one time, the windows updated the sound driver, and no stereo sound again. I uninstalled the device, rebooted, and stereo back. Then I unplugged the headphones, and windows said that no speakers were found: I restarted the audio device, speakers were found again, but stereo broken again *Mad

I think that debugging this looks tricky but, do you have any ideas?

No Stereo Option On Speaker Configuraiton

I'm having the same issue as this person TEN YEARS ON. IN TEN YEARS THIS ISSUE STILL HASN'T BEEN FIXED. and on a Different Version. They were on 7 and had this issue. I'm on 10 and have this issue. Why has this issue not been fixed.

In my Speaker Setup Configuration Menu, The only option for my headphones is 7.1 Surround even though my Headphones are Stereo Headphones. And this causes games I play to be near silent, Because it tries to use surround sound when my Headphones are using
Stereo. The Game is confused and outputting 7.1 Surround Audio. And there's no way to change that with MANY GAMES. All because the options for 5.1, Stereo and Mono are Missing. What the Hell is with this.

I'd really appricate an answer from someone who actually knows what they are doing. And not someone reading from a Script. I know how this works. I ask a question. You answer me with someone who probably knows less about the issue than I do. Reading off a Script.
Suggesting things like 'Have you tired re-installing the driver' 'Have you tried reinstalling Windows 10' 'Have you tried juggling flaming plates while balancing on the power button and scratching your butt' OF COURSE I HAVE. Thats the first thing you try,
To troubleshoot and fix the issue yourself.

PLEASE. I've been trying to fix this for Hours.
