Windows 10: No Taskbar!

When Windows Update ran on my computer tonight it devoured my taskbar, which means that I don't have access to anything on my computer that does not have a link on my screen. My lady, the useless virtual agent, informs me that it may be because I have too much on my hard drive for Windows Update to finish its task. If Windows Update needs so much workspace, then why doesn't it use the infernal cloud? And how can I create room on my C drive by uninstalling apps if I can't even run Settings, let alone show the screen that has all of the apps icons on it? Besides, every possible app that can be installed already resides on my massive one terra byte D drive. Why does Windows find the need to place onto my hard drive parts of its bloated anatomy that perform functions that only a few users even want, let alone need? If I sound impatient and dissatisfied, it's because this is at least the third time that Windows has obliterated my taskbar!

System Icons on taskbar

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

• Right click on Taskbar.
• Click on Properties
• Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
• Click on OK.

Taskbar Issue with Multiple Monitors

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Right click on the Taskbar and select Properties.
• Check if the option for Lock the Taskbar and Auto-hide the taskbar
  are ticked.
• If they are ticked then uncheck the option for Auto-hide the taskbar.

Also, suggest you to update the Display driver by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.
