Windows 10: no telephony services

shortly after installing last weeks beta version: No Microsoft telephony services are installed." when clicking on local Outlook contactonly on one Win 11 pc for one user. Other machines fine for that user.The telephony service is running automatically in ServicesDialing out directly from Teams works fine.Office 365 support convinced it's a windows issue not Office.usual repair of Office and Windows did not fix.

The Telephony (TapiSrv) service provides Telephony API (TAPI) support for programs that control telephony devices on the local computer and, through the LAN, on servers that are also running the service.

It is set as "Manual" and "Stopped" for me by default.

If you don't use such devices, then you can set it the same as above or disable it if you like.

Brink I disabled telephony but there was a box that said it is managing remote access connection manager. Now remote access connection manager is running and telephony now set to manual

I did this Enable or Disable Remote Assistance Connections in Windows I disabled that. But no I did not disable the Rasman is it alright to leave that on. When I disabled telephony there was a box that came up saying it Managing Rasman Remote Access Connection Manager. So Telephony is now not running but The Rasman is on start up of computer
