Windows 10: No threats detected after I clicked on spam link

    No threats detected after I clicked on spam link


    I accidentally clicked on a spam link so I did a full scan on Windows Security, then a scan with the free version of Malwarebytes and no threats were detected. I also did a Microsoft Defender Offline scan but for some reason I can't see any results for it. When I go on protection history none of my scanning history shows. Because there were no threats from the full scan and Malwarebytes scan am I all good? I feel like my laptop is slightly slower than usual but I'm not sure.

    Threats detected by Windows Defender

    If you really want to be sure if those threats are removed completely then I would suggest to clean install Windows. That’s the only way to know for sure.

    And always disconnect from the internet next time you encounter malware. That’s the first step to take, especially if you have more than one computer sharing the same network.

    • HEllo sir I was using my laptop as I used daily but suddenly a alert has been pop up in my browser saying that you have been infected by a virus or spyware and call to the given number.Please clearify that that should I neglect it considering as a spam
      or take it as a serious threat.. Please help me. thanking you
