Windows 10: No trace of connected headset

Hello guys! I bought a new Asus laptop and it's working fine. Recentlythat is 2 days before, when I connected my headset, there is no trace that it is connected. I tried all the possible solutions available in the internet, ie.,

1. Update my driversagain, no trace yet I updated all from "Audio i/p and op" and "Sound, video, game controllers"





2. When I try to go to the sound settings in control panel, there is only default sound device and mic that is build-in. I choose to show the disabled and disconnected devices but nothing. Only the speakers and build-in mic while the headset still connected.








3. I think the jack working fine cause it immediately asks for the type I want from this audio device when connectedHeadset, headphones, etc. I tried all the four of them, nothing...





4. When I try to troubleshoot, the troubleshoot checks for the audio services and then it asks me whether to turn off the audio enhancements. I TURNED THAT OFF, yet same.


When I do that first time8 to 10 days before, it asks me whether troubleshoot the system audio device or the jack. But not this time.


And there is no trace of headset in the output devices list. Only build-in Realtek speakers.

And I click yes, you can see below image and I disabled the enhancements. Then troubleshoot completed.




Before your answers, I want to make things clear. There is no trace of the headset apart from the "what to do?" pop up which is the 4th image. AND, IF I CONNECT MY HEADSET BEFORE COMING TO HOME SCREEN no pop up, THE HEADSET WORKS FINE. AND THEN I REMOVE IT AND CONNECT AGAIN, NOTHING HAPPENS. Checked my lap with other headset. No problem in headsets. Works fine in other devices. The problem is with my lap. I heard a problem with the cumulative update so I uninstalled it alone. But, the same happens again and again. Now, I need to update that again. I tried to uninstall Realtek audioshown in 1st image and restart. It downloaded, yet the same. I'll enclose my updates list for your reference to find if any issues with that.





I welcome any solution for this problem. Sorry if it is a simple problem and I didn't understand. But pls give me a solution. I want my headset to work in my lap.

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

WIndows 10 cannot connect to a bluetooth headset.

• Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
• Click OK.

• What is the make and model of your headset and Bluetooth dongle?

Headset problems

• Is this the first time you're trying to install or connect your USB headset to your computer?
• Have you tried connecting it to a different USB port on your computer?
• When you connected your headset, did the PC recognize it?
