Windows 10: No USB 3.0 support on Asus Sabertooth Z87 after upgrade

Hi,
this is driving me crazy for over a week now and i just can't find any solution . Upgraded from Windows 8.1 went pretty smoothly except for my USB 3.0 ports and i just can't find the right drivers or windows won't let me install them.

The ports in the back of the tower all ports seem to work (back and frontpanel) but just as USB 2.0. When i plug in a 2.0 stick it recognizes it, but not my 3.0 stick just won't work it makes the sound when i plug it in but nothing happens.
I went to the asus support site for my Board and installed all the drivers for windows 10 from here:

Im also not sure which of theese would be for USB, installed them all anyways. Still nothing. Went back and dug out the support CD and tried to install something from there but it wouldn't let me.
My theory is that Microsoft uses its own drivers but they just don't work. I'm not an expert with USB drivers looking at the hardware manager doesn't help me much, but I made a pic, maybe it says something to some of you.

I would be really happy for any help, I need my USB 3.0 sticks regularly. I can't really find anything on this. This here seems to be something similar:

but just booting into safe mode did nothing for me.

USB 3.0 not working after upgrade from win8.1 to win10

After choosing to upgrade from win 8.1 to win 10 everything using usb port stopped working. I got into the start page but my mouse and keyboard is unavailable. The ports are all USB 3.0 and I'm using the ASUS motherboard Z87-Pro. I have tried several times
upgrading and once the system worked for one day after the upgrade. Everything seemed to work then and I manage to peek into the Device Manager and saw an exclamation mark on the USB host controller. However, as I searched the web for update using the right
click button that page froze up. after restarting all USB port became unusable again. I've managed to recover back to my previous build with no problem but I just can't upgrade to win 10. Anyone able to help? Thanks!

 

Help after updating to Windows 10 USB Root Hub (xHCI) has error code 19 and no USB inputs work.

I have seen this problem on Intel and ASUS website, with threads from 2013. I did not have a problem with Windows 8 or 8.1. Now that I have updated to Windows 10 I receive a Code 19 error for the Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.0 (Microsoft).
When I uninstall the driver for USB Root Hub (xHCI) my USB will work a couple second after windows loads. Then the USB stops working and the device is detected with the same code 19. Is there anyway to fix this?
