Windows 10: no usb shows in finder

Discus and support no usb shows in finder in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I have several USB 3.0 ports and I have tried to connect a Card reader and a Harddisk but non of them appears in finder or othe programs.     I have several USB 3.0 ports and I have tried to connect a Card reader and a Harddisk but non of them appears in finder or othe programs. I have testet the units on other computers and they work fine there ???

    Driver Finder

    new beta up 3.0.0.12 (you will always be able to download the new version by hitting the respective keys (Update/Beta etc) in the program itself.)

    Fancy not updated (wont be until majority of changes to vanilla are done)

    USB problems

    checked all of those suggestions an still no luck. They show as being there and enabled but doesnt recognize anything you plug into them. I got a driver checker as well and it lists the drivers as up to date. could this be a bad motherboard?
