Windows 10: No web video in any browser - local videos fine

Discus and support No web video in any browser - local videos fine in Windows 10 Graphic Cards to solve the problem; Having an issue with all browsers playing any sort of video.     No web video in any browser - local videos fine


    Having an issue with all browsers playing any sort of video. Nothing from YouTube, Facebook, etc works. Shows the first frame and that is about it. IE and Edge will sometimes play, but at well under 1fps. Can play 1080P videos from local files no problem - even at full screen.

    Dell Optiplex 7040 with Intel HD Graphics 530
    Driver version 20.19.15.4454
    Windows 10 - very fresh install
    3x 25" LCDs at 2560x1440- 1 on one DP, 2 on another DP (daisy chained from LCD to LCD)
    All blocking on firewall turned off
    Not using Windows Defender
    No other antivirus
    Same results with Flash installed or not

    About to buy another graphics card to see if that is the issue.

    Failure to display all videos after upgrading to Windows 10 on older Gateway PC

    I tried un-installing the graphics drivers and running Windows Update. Local videos (Windows Media Player) and web videos (IE and Edge) still show blank. NEW INFO: I also tried Chrome browser. Web videos play OK in Chrome. Local videos (.mp4, .wmv)
    will not play in Chrome. Any ideas? -Thanks.

    The youtube app is working fine but i am not able to see any videos in the web browser.
