Windows 10: No Wi-Fi adaptors after installing windows 8,1 pro?

I have successfully downgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 8.1. One problem that I have is that there is no Wi-Fi driver installed. I used to have Wi-Fi on Windows 10. I have downloaded and installed a driver to fix this but to no avail. I'm not sure which driver is the correct one to download for my laptop. My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite C55D B5294, AMD A8. When I go to the device manager, there is nothing in the network adaptors section. Only an ethernet driver. No wireless driver. How can I get internet and install the correct driver on my laptop?

I had an issue with one Wi-fi adapter and it wasn't listed as compatible- All was well when I swapped it out with one on the compatibility list

• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.

Method 2: The issue may occur if the drivers for Wi-fi are not installed or updated. I suggest you to install/update the latest version for Wi-fi drivers by following the steps below.

• Press ‘windows key + R’ and type ‘devmgmt.msc’ and press Enter.
• Expand ‘Network adapter’ and right click on Wi-fi driver and select update.
