Windows 10: No wifi on Dell XPS L501x with Intel Centrino-N1000 network adaptor, running Windows 10

I am having issues with my Wireless connection and BSOD errors Dell XPS L501x 14 years old running Windows 10. Network Adaptor is Intel Centrino-N 1000 Condor Peak. Driver version is 15.11.0.9 My wireless internet connection was disconnecting whenever the computer went to sleep, I had to run the Troubleshooter to reset the network adaptor for it to reconnect. In Device Manager, Events tab, it showed 4 lines: Device started NETwNs64 Device configured oem39.inf Device configured netwsw00.inf Device not started NETwNs64 Two weeks ago my wireless internet connection suddenly stopp

I tried both options without success. Prior to the update on 12-12-15 I had wireless access. Now my wireless button will not turn on. The system doesn't recognize it as being off. Says it is a problem with the hw wifi button. I have tried rebooting.
Shutting off the system and rebooting, and what you suggested. All to my sadness. It works of course with wired system. It worked with wifi up to the minute the update was installed. After wifi sense was on my system I had no way to turn on wifi. What
now? I also tried updating drivers particularly the n1000 intel Centrino.

Let us follow the below steps, and check if it helps.

Step 1:

a. Click Start and select Control Panel.

b. Open Network and Sharing Center.

c. Click Manage Wireless Networks.

d. Remove all wireless network listed in this list.

e. Restart computer and reconnect to your wireless network.

Step 2:

You may uninstall and re-install wireless network adapter from Device Manager to be on a safer side.

To uninstall the wireless connection from Device Manager,

a. Click Start, type Device Manager in the Start search box and hit Enter.

b. Locate Network adapters and expand the same.

c. Select the wireless connection, right-click and select Uninstall.

d. Restart the computer, if prompted.

Drivers should get installed automatically after restarting the computer.

Now, you may install the latest wireless drivers and check if that fixes the issue.
