Windows 10: NO wifi option, NO Bluetooth switch, NO Control panel OR wifi option in change adapter options

What the hell do I even do. I've spent like a day figuring out how to fix any of these but they've all led to dead ends. And also providing a specific link within Microsoft like http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/getstarted-why-cant-i-get-connected will lead me to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows

WiFi and Bluetooth Options Disappeared from Device management

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run the Network Adapter troubleshooter.

  Press Windows key +X, select
  Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Network Adapter troubleshooter.
  

Step 2: You may follow the steps and check if it helps in resolving the issue, as the device might be hidden.

    Press Windows key + X.
    
  • 
    Click on Device Manager.
    
  • 
    Click on View.
    
  • 
    Click on Show
    Hidden Devices.
    
  • 
    Search for the Bluetooth device.

Brightness keeps changing automatically. Adaptive brightness option is not there in the display options

My display brightness keeps changing every time i switch between different apps. I've been having this issue for a long time.

I'm using HP Omen Laptop. Windows 10.

I saw another thread with the same issue but was unable to reply in it.

I followed the steps that said the following:

*As an initial recommendation, I suggest you to follow the below steps to disable the adaptive or auto brightness for the selected power plan (if you already have a Power Plan created in Windows)

• Open Control Panel and click on Power Options.
• Open your active power plan, you’ll see Change plan settings option. Click Change plan settings next to your current power plan to open Edit Plan Settings window.
• Click Change advanced power settings option. This will open Power Options dialog.
• Expand Display and then expand Enable adaptive brightness. Change it to Off*

But the problem i the option "Enable adaptive brightness" is not even there.





So What do i do now?

 

Wifi is in the Network Adapter Option

Hello,

I have an issue with my PC’s wifi connection. The wifi option is missing in the “Network & Internet Setting” and is also missing in the “more network adapter options”.

I am using a “TP-Link wireless PCI Express Adapter” for my wifi and under Device manager, the option is hidden. Updating the driver does not help the issue and I’ve tried uninstalling the driver which made things much worse causing me to restore all the files.
