  1. No Wifi option shown, unable to connect to network

Hi,A couple days again I briefly switched my laptop wifi to my phones personal hotspot since my connection was a little spotty. Now, two days later, wifi isn’t even an option for me to connect to, it’s just bluetooth which is also not helpful since connecting my phone with bluetooth doesn’t provide me an internet connection. I desperately need to be able to use my laptop for school and this issue is making that impossible.I have a Surface Pro 3 and for the last 4+ years I’ve owned it this has never been an issue, even with using my hotspot from time to time. When I open the “Network and intern

  2. Unable to see a specific WiFi Network in list

I have Windows 8.1. I can see the WiFi networks of everyone in the vicinity. However, am unable to see the WiFi network installed in my home.

The WiFi Network that am unable to see is a new connection. This new connection is seen by all devices (Mobiles etc) but it is.not getting displayed in my Windows 8.1 list.

I have seen other threads on the issue which recommend checking WLAN Autoconfig etc. And have tried those steps too. But there is no change in the outcome.

Can anyone please suggest any solution that migjt work. I am not willing to format my Laptop.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

    Thanks in adv and Regards

  3. Wifi network is not shown:

    Dear All,

    I'm using Nokia E63.

    Firmware version: 500.21.009

If i am (already) connected to my wifi network (could b browsing (web) or any other gprs app), and i want to use some other gprs related app(cud be web), when it asks to connect to some access point, "select access point", my currently connected wifi is
not shown there. Rather an option 'search for wlan' is shown with other local network options.

If i click "search for wlan", it gives me an error that one wlan is already cnncted, disconnect it ist.

And if i try to connect it again, it does show my (already connected) wifi in 'select access point' option. i.e, it shows it in 2nd try (if i m already connected to wifi network).

However this problem dosnt happen if i m going to connect to wifi for the ist time (i.e, if wifi is not connected in my phone), it does show my wifi router in select access point option...

I've been facing this problem for the last 3 to 4 days, before that it was working fine...

    Thanks in advance

    Regards,

    Omer.

  4. No Wifi option shown, unable to connect to network

Windows 10 unable to connect to wifi

    Hi,

I purchased a new computer running Windows 10 (build 10240) today and have set up the windows. However, it will not allow me to connect to my wifi. When I use the network option in the task bar, no wifi networks are shown and it says that there are no connections available. When I access the network settings, where the different sections are listed on the left-hand side, wifi is not an available option.

I have been trying for a good few hours and have tried many different solutions to fix this. These include:
    • Updating drivers
    • Deleting drivers and then allowing the computer to reinstall
    • A few different command prompt methods such as resetting the TCP stack, as well as trying some that were for people who upgraded from windows 7/8

I have no idea how to fix this or any clue as to why its happening in the first place. Please help!

    Thanks,

P.S. Here are my computer specs if this helps: Zoostorm Gaming Media Desktop PC
