    No Wifi - Windows Connection Manager won't start: Error 126


    Hi there!


    I hope you can help me with this. A Windows 10 notebook I'm working on does not have Wifi working.

    After network adapter diagnosis, it says that WLAN service is not running. Tried to fix it as an administrator but that didn't work either.

    WLAN service dependencies led me to Windows Connection Manager, that's also stopped. Tried to start it but gave me error 126.

    As this PC had Windows 8 previously and Wifi worked before, I think this problem is related to corrupted files on upgrade to Windows 10.

    I tried DISM.exe (dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth) but it didn't fixed the problem.

    Also tried sfc /scannow and it said that "it has found damaged files but could not fix them"


    Are there any other repair tools I can use to avoid formatting the hell out of this?
