  1. No Windows devices in Local network can connect to internet after WiFi access point install

Hi all, none of my Windows devices can seem to connect to the internet after installation of WiFi access points. After, running troubleshooting on all computers they all display the same message: "The computer appears to be configured correctly but, the device or resource [website being tested] is not responding." I searched this up on the internet and tried a great number of solutions that so far have not worked. Here is a list of those solutions:Running the network/adapter troubleshooter Disabling browser proxy settingDisabling the power saving mode for the network adapterReinstalling the n

Small business Wifi Network for 20-30 Devices?

I have been looking at this exact problem myself with the same range of numbers. I've found there are a wide range of choices and performance of the network very much depends on how much money you're willing to put into it.

Our wifi consisted of a single modem/router and the devices were only requesting internet access, the problem we were getting was either devices getting dropped off the network or just very little internet access at all when it was connected. From doing some studying I concluded that i could improve the performance by separating the roles, having a modem dealing with the connection to the outside world and DHCP and having a more powerful router handle the wireless devices (the router I was looking at was the model down from your suggested one, the Asus RT-N66U), you could probably go one further and add a low spec'd server box dealing with DHCP, DNS, etc. This was the cheapest option but left no real room for scaling up devices.

The other was as has been suggested, getting a wireless controller/gateway with multiple access points, obviously the cost scales higher but you also increase the overall capacity of the network with good performance, and usually with a good controller you can further add more access points to increase range/devices.

I think in this case it's very much you get what you pay for.

Connecting computer with no internet connection to network printer

    1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig

    2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank

Lumia 610 connecting to wifi but no internet access

You can try these troubleshooting steps:

    1. Move closer to a WLAN access point to get better WLAN signal.

    2. Check that you do not have MAC (Media Access Control) address
filtering on in the access point settings. If your WLAN network uses MAC address filtering for security. You will need to know the MAC address for your phone, and then add it to the access list for the network before you can connect. To find
the MAC address for your phone, do the following:

      • Press Start, then swipe left to the App list.
      • Select Settings > About > More info.
      • If there are many WLAN access points nearby, try to use a different wireless
channel in your WLAN access point.
    3. If you are using a public WLAN access point, it is possible that all
    IP addresses
are in use. Try to create a connection again later.

    4. On your Lumia phone, delete non functioning WLAN access point (internet connection) and connect it again:
