Windows 10: No Windows Security icon on Windows 10 Home?

Hi all, I don't have the computer here at the moment as it's not mine, so I can't provide logs, but I just did an in-place upgrade with a Media Creation Tool USB on a Win7 Home machine to Win10 Home. Everything seems OK, but there is no Windows Defender Security icon down near the clock? I've checked....the icon is not disabled or hidden in the taskbar settings, an 'sfc /scannow' found issues and repaired them, DISM scans found no issues. I restarted it after each, but still no Windows Defender icon? I can still get to the Windows Defender/Security settings to run scans, etc from the Search box and scans run and settings and functions all work there....there just isn't a Defender icon, which means my friend wouldn't be able to see if there was an issue with that piece of software. Any ideas how to get it back? I've done Win7 to Win10 upgrades this way MANY times and this is the first time that I've seen this happen. I also ran Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and HitmanPro scans and neither found any issues. Thanks for any suggestions!

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows 10 desktop icons not in order

In ccleaner, did you uncheck cleaning the icon cache... have not used in a while; however, I think that is what the option is called.

Now, if you are setting the icons and they move after you have set the settings and not changed them... you may have the "Random Windows 10 Icon movement problem".
Some people have this and some don't.
