Windows 10: No windows store apps work, states file not found despite file existing at the location given

I've been grappling with the issue in the title for a while now.

Whenever I try to launch any WindowsApp (be it installed from the MS store or preinstalled) I get an error stating the specific file doesn't exist. Example: https://s.wowneat.pictures/b6f4f40a-a2d9-4c8e-a6c5-ce47b58d40af.png

As seen in the picture above, the file path given seems to exist just fine.

Nonstandard configuration ahoy: My downloads folder is on a different drive, I'm not sure if that could cause problems.

Stored files in Hard Drive

You can use Windows search. Just search for *.* on a desired drive. When list is done just arrange them by size LOL.

You can do it via command line as well and make an output text file showing files and their sizes (but without arrangement)

 

Where are the files for the store app located?

I would like to inform that the apps that are downloaded from Windows Store will be located in the location:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Packages

To navigate to this location, you will have to unhide the hidden folders by following the steps provided below:

• Open File Explorer.
• Click on View and check the option for Hidden items.

Corrupted file RAR

If the archive has been created using WinRAR, why don't you try WinRAR itself? It has a built-in repair feature for repairing corrupted archive (ZIP as well as RAR). Follow the steps given below:

• Open WinRAR application in your system.
• Now click on File tab > Open or simply press Ctrl+O.
• A small window "Find Archive" will pop up. Locate the corrupt RAR archive from your system directory and select it.
• Now click Open button.
• Click Tools tab > Repair archive or simply press Alt+R.
• Again a small window "Repairing File name.rar" will pop up.
• Now click Browse to select a location to save the repaired archive.
• Check the box "Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" and click OK.
• WinRAR will start repairing of corrupt RAR archive. Once it gets completed click Close.
