Windows 10: No wireless controller settings in devices?

I'm trying to connect my PS4 controller via bluetooth, but I just can't see that 'wireless controller' anywhere.

It's not in the devices section either.

I've tried restoring windows, sfc scannow and went through the stages of repairing it.

When I try to add a bluetooth device, it does not detect my PS4 controller.
My bluetooth is on, obviously.

I've tried updating all the USB drivers from the device manager.
I've tried disabling the HID controllers/drivers.

Nothing is working.

The point is, there isn't an option to see 'Wireless Controller' in the 'Devices' list.

Xbox Controller is not connecting to Wireless Adapter

I appreciate your time and patience to work on this issue. To have a better clarity on the issue please reply to the following questions:

• Are you using an Xbox one controller?
  

If you are using an Xbox one controller, I suggest you to refer the steps in the article

How to connect an Xbox One Wireless Controller to a Windows PC and see if that helps in resolving the issue.



I would also suggest you to uninstall all the hidden devices under USB hive and check if you are able to connect the wireless adapter. Please follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall the hidden drivers:

1. Press and hold the Windows + X key on the keyboard.
   
2. Select Device manager.
   
3. Click View tab.
   
4. Select Show hidden devices.
   
5. Expand Universal Serial Bus and remove all the greyed out devices. To remove the greyed out devices, right click on the device and select
   uninstall.
   
6. Restart your computer.

We would suggest you to follow the below step to connect to wireless network devices:

• From the desktop press Windows flag key +R and type control and click ok.
• This will open control panel.
• Under Hardware and Sound, click Add a device, and then follow the instructions.

This will help you to connect to wireless network devices.

Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 not showing up as a bluetooth device on PC
