Windows 10: noise balance issue

today, my laptop restarted & updated. this update caused my the audio of any streaming/video site on google chrome & other web browsers to be much, much lower than my system audio. i went to twitch & youtube on both google & edge to test it, & even with my volume turned all the way up to 100, it still sounded extremely quiet. anything below 50 i can barely hear. i tried messing with the volume mixer & google chrome settings, but it did not work; i also tried uninstalling & reinstalling my audio drivers, then updating them, but that didn't work either. as a last-ditch effort, i reset my laptop to its state before the update, which is what i did the last time i had this issue, but this didn't work either. i repeated the steps i had tried earlier to no avail. everything i've found online tells me to do something i've already tried. i don't know anything about computers so everything that i tried was suggested to me when i googled my issue. is there anything else i can try, or am i stuck with a screwed-up audio?

Audio Balance in Windows 10

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check-

• Click on Start and then control panel.
  
• Open the option of Sound and in the tab of
  playback click on the windows displaying speakers. This enables the button properties, click on it.
  
• This opens new window as Speakers properties, here click on the tab
  Levels.
• Now click on the button Balance in front of the speaker volume bar.
  
• This will open another small window of Balance. Here you may adjust the balance between the left and right speakers as per requirement.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Noise Issue

There is a weird buzzing noise coming from my laptop. I have checked and it is not noise from the fan. I researched it and found out that this noise resembled a noise coming from a hard drive with a stuck motor. It sounds like that, but my laptop has an
ssd not a hdd. Any suggestions to finding out what this noise is and how to possibly fix it would be greatly appreciated.
