Windows 10: Noise suppression effect forced on all my audio

Hi,I have this weird effect with some of my audio I think that it happens more when two things are playing at the same time? where it will sound like the audio is being put through a noise suppression filter. This is a problem because it's doing it with music, mostly. Is this because of Waves? Thank you.

Audio issue/AMD Noise Suppression in start up?

Thank you, I managed to figure out the audio problem. I still don't know why AMD noise suppression appears in my start up apps, but it's apparently not affecting anything.

If anyone else has this issue with Acer, specifically an Aspire A515-45, look up Acer Purified Voice Console and put Speaker AI Noise Reduction to 0.

 

Is there a way to disable noise suppression?

I am a music teacher that teaches virtually. My new laptop uses the Microphone Array (Intel Smart Sound Technology), and when I try to use it for lessons all background noise is suppressed. Is there a way to disable noise suppression?

 

Audio issue/AMD Noise Suppression in start up?

I've been struggling with an audio problem with my new laptop. I've posted this before but, basically, whenever I'm in call, audio from games, videos, music, etc. become inaudible or staticy. I've tried all the generic fixes, including uninstalling/updating drivers, turning on/off exclusive access mode, etc. On my last post, someone brought up the potential of AMD Noise Suppression causing the issue, which leads to the next thing:

I don't think I actually qualify for the noise suppression setting since I'm only running with Ryzen 5 5500, so I don't have the setting... however, I do have it in my start up applications for some reason, but I can't find it in anything else like task manager. Would this cause any issues at all, particularly the sound issue?
