Windows 10: Nokia A032 wlan access point

Hi,

I'm working on the project, which involves sdi over fiber extender, we're passing signal from ip camera through fiber extender and on the receiver site ip cable comes to Nokia A032 wlan access point, can we use it as switch or concentrator or it's not a good idea.
Any advice is appreciated.

N97 won't use WLAN internet automatically

Hi,

I configure 1 WLAN access point at home and another WLAN access at office , but when I am in office, Nokia N97 keep trying to connect the access point at home instead of using office WLAN.

Is that the default behaviour of Nokia N97?

Is this a class or school project? That A032 is ancient hardware that is not even supported and I highly doubt that it even works. You are talking about something that was manufactured over 15 years ago. Posting on multiple forums for the same subject is going to end up getting you blocked from those sites and any servers they are hosted on for spamming. Why are you not using more up to date hardware in place of that A032, which has always been a headache for people if you did a search.

Yes, this application is for school and we are limited changing existing infrastructure...

 

That is old equipment that why they still have it in the lab is not helping those who are students. I would go back to the Instructor and ask them why they want students to try and mess with gear that never worked right when it came out. You can download the manual for that dinosaur online. Tessco purchased that line from Nokia back in 2001. With that, they would have limited info and you are back to square one.

The Access Point cannot be used as a Concentrator, since it was not made for that, nor as a switch.

That is fine but you need to tell the instructor that it is not doable with the technology and not having a Concentrator as is required. You have only have of the information needed to solve the problem. You have to follow it through each step in what exactly is needed to make it work in a theoretical situation.
