Discus and support Nokia PC Suite saying "verify that you have sufficient access to that key" while... in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I was trying to install Nokia PC Suite and was getting this[IMG] error.     I was trying to install Nokia PC Suite and was getting thisNokia PC Suite saying "verify that you have sufficient access to that key" while... [​IMG] error. I tried to google it a bit and found some solutions which unfortunately didn't work for me Nokia PC Suite saying "verify that you have sufficient access to that key" while... :( . I tried playing with the permissions in regedit too, but didn't work. Hope someone can help me!

  2. 6280/PC Suite Problem, will not recognise

    Hi, I have a 6280 with WinXP home, PC Suite 6.7. My problem is PC suite does not recognise my phone. In manage connections it says, Connection to Nokia PC Suite failed. Please reinstall Nokia PC Suite. (Code: Init IMediaControl2). But then when i try to
    reinstall PC Suite it fails halfway and produces a message that says: Error 1402. Could not open key:UNKNOWN\.jar\Nokia.Application Installer. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact you support personnel. Now how am i supposed to fix
    this, Everyones help would be appreciated.

    Also im in Australia so i hope that doesnt matter. lol

  3. Can't install PC Suite

    System: Windows XP, Version 5.1.2600, SP2 build 2600

    I'm trying to install lates PC Suite 6.84

    On the last step of installation PC suite installer gives this error:

    Culd not write value to key \Software\Classes\CLSID.

    Verify that you have sufficient access to that key.

    I tried to disable antivirus (Avast free home adition) and even Windows default firewall and install afeter this, but unfortunatelly these didn't helped.

    In Windows' Computer Managment->System tools->Event viewer->Splication I found this error:

    Product: PC Connectivity Solution -- Error 1406. Could not write value to key \Software\Classes\CLSID. System error . Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

    MsInstaller is 3.1 version

    Windows is fresh copy, just installed two days ago, with all kind of updates from microsoft server. Very strange, but this copy of PC Suite perfectly worked on old Windows.

    Please, help.

    Couldn't install PC Suite v.7 on my laptop

    I just bought a Nokia N51. I tried installing the PC Suite v.6.85.14.1 and the PC Suite v.7 to no avail.

    Installation stops at around 50% with the prompt, "Could not read value from key. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel."

    I have removed the Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver a dozen of times already. It comes back everytime I reinstall the PC Suite.

    As I've read from previous posts, the PC Connectivity Solution needs to be removed from the 'Control Panel> Add or Remove Software' but it also prompts the error, "Could not read value from key. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact
    your support personnel."

    What am I going to do with this?
