Windows 10: None of my local Microsoft services are working.

Recently, I wanted to play one of my favorite games which heavily relies on the Microsoft login and server Sea of Thieves. This was when it all started, my first issue; Lavenderbeard. Then after that, I tried to open my Xbox companion application where I was met with a message, telling me to download a new updated Xbox companion app. This is when I discovered the second issue, where when I opened Microsoft Store, I was met with issue 0x80131500. After this disappointment, I returned to the old companion app and tried to login. Here I was met with the third issue, that told me "We can't log you in right now. Try again later". This issue had the code 0xbba. Then, to report the issues, I went to Feedback Hub, where I was met with the last issue, an infinite loading screen.


To summarize the issues i faced:


Sea of Thieves issue.

Lavenderbeard.


Microsoft Store.

0x80131500.


Xbox Companion App.

0xbba.


Feedback Hub.

Infinite loading screen.

Switch Back to Existing Local Account from Microsoft Account

Hi,

Thank you for posting your response in Microsoft Community.

I understand your concern, and we in Community will try to help you in the best possible way we can.

I suggest that you follow the steps below and check if you can log into your computer using the Local Account.

• • On the Search Bar type “User Account”.
  • On the right menu pane locate and click “Make changes to my account in this PC”.
  • Then locate and click on “Sign in With a Local Account instead”.
  • And follow on screen instructions.

Local account installation question

I'm fairly certain that Skip this step was available in 10.0.130 - the workaround in Step 20 (back button) is no longer required.

The currently known, as of 10.0.130, ways to create a Local account sign-in are

• Skip this step at the MS account creation phase
• No Internet connection during the install
• static IP (post# 2 by Fragment) - New (to me anyway)

 

New Local Account Not Working In Windows 10

Hi Scott,

This issue could have happened due to corrupted profile on your Windows 10. We suggest that you delete the non-working profile on your PC and try to register it again.

To delete your non-working account, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Click on the *Start menu**. It's the Windows logo in the bottom left of your screen.
• 
  Click on Settings.
  
• 
  Click on Accounts.
  
• 
  Click on Family & other users.
  
• 
  Click on the account you wish to remove.
  
• 
  Click on the remove button.
  
• 
  Click on the Delete account and data button.
