Windows 10: None of my sign-in options available for Windows 11

I would rather not use facial recognition with Windows Hello and rather use my fingerprint, but I cannot change the setting. All of the options say "This option is currently unavailable." When expanding the option, it has a blue exclamation point icon and says "Something went wrong. Please try again later" with all of the options greyed out. A post was made about this already, but the person's answer did not address how to solve it and just provided a potential troubleshooting method. Password option no longer available, PIN was never set, unable to sign in

Fingerprint sign-in as default option on Windows 11

I just upgraded to Windows 11. When I sign-in, I am asked to enter my PIN. In order to use fingerprint, I have to select "sign-in options" and click on the fingerprint. I have restarted the computer numerous times, and each time I am asked to enter my PIN and have to go through this extra step to use my fingerprint to sign-in. How do I get my fingerprint as the default option to sign-in as I had using Windows 10.

 

Remove sign in pin

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the sign in pin/password options.

• In the search box type sign-in-option.
• Click on the sign-in-option.
• Then you can find password/pin/picture password.
• There you can remove the option and check.
