    I give my PC to my friend for him to use for a while. Today, he sent me a message with "I can't join my home wifi. I get these 2 errors while joining".I take a look online and even in this forum, but couldn't find any question answered with an actual way to fix it, so I wanted to ask myself. When he runs Windows Network Diagnostics, he gets these two errors"None of the networks you have previously connected to are in range" and "This computer is... :problems foundNone of the networks you have previously connected to are in range Not Fixed XThis computer is set to manually connect to 'De

  2. "Can't connect to this network" and "None of the networks you have previously connected to are in range"

    After trying multiple solutions I'm simply stuck, I've tried to reinstall drivers, restart the router, reboot the computer on multiple occasions, and do a network reset, and none have worked. However, all other devices have no trouble connecting to my wifi
    including phones, another computer running Windows 7, and a MacBook which I'm using right now on the wifi my PC can't connect to. Whenever I try to connect to the network, it blinks as it attempts to connect, only for it to suddenly close and show the symbol
    that it's connected to the network, but no the internet, only to pop back up, disconnected and say it can't connect to this network. I've run diagnostics on Internet Connections and Network Adapter but both have returned "None of the networks you have previously
    connected to are in range", even though neither the PC or the router has moved, and I could connect yesterday with 0 hitches what so ever.

    Help is greatly appreciated.

    1. Open Admin command and type: ipconfig

      "None of the networks you have previously connected to are in range" and "This computer is... [IMG]
    2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
      Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
      NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank

    Losing network connection

    Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

    2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
    In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

    3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

    4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

    I Hope you solve out your query soon.
