    Hi,


    When I try to connect my recently purchased NOOK Glowlight Plus to my Surface Book to transfer PDF files, the PC does not register that a device is connected via USB. Why isn't this working?

    WINDOWS 10 DOES NOT RECOGNIZE NOOK EREADER WHEN PLUGGED IN BY USB

    I need to update the software on my NOOK Glowlight Plus Ereader. The software is available by download over the internet from Barnes and Noble, and has to been updated in order to use the NOOK and purchase new things to read. However, when I plug my NOOK
    into the computer by USB, the computer does not recognize it as a device. I have checked the cords, the USB drives and there is nothing wrong with them. I cannot add the device either. Unless, I can get the computer to recognize the device, I cannot update
    the required software and the NOOK is rendered useless.

    From my searches on the Web, it appears to be a problem with the computer and there have been some remedies listed, but I am afraid to start disabling drivers, etc, and not sure that it is a foolproof plan.

    Advice, please.
