Windows 10: Normal.dotm is missing from windows recent files list windows 10

I have the opposite question to https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/recent-list-shows-normaldotm/d8c86305-1394-4b24-8740-6eb06deef1f3 which is locked although unanswered - shame on the moderatorsOn my windows 8.1 PC normal.dotm appeared in the recent files list when I saved it. So I could open the location, copy it and back it up with a custom name.On my new windows 10 professional PC it is not showing in the recent items list in quick access, or in C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent, or in C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Office\Recent

you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

that's all off already dude lol, I'm really surprised there is no fix for the recent files list/MRU in the file menu of programs haha

I appreciate the help, MS really needs to implement a Group Policy or a string that can do that for all programs installed
