    Norton's VPN


    I was thinking about installing Norton's VPN and not being a technical person am a it concerned about installing it. Is it difficult to do and are there any pit falls also, is it worth downloading please?

    As an aside Norton wanted £79-00 for technical support, I said goodbye*Tongue

    WiFi missing after Windows 10 upgrade

    I was able to determine that the cause was the Cisco VPN client that was installed. Windows 10 would not allow me to remove the application, so I ended up rolling back to 8.1, uninstalling the VPN client Running the last Windows update& reinstalling Windows
    10. This time the upgrade went flawlessly, and all but applications & drivers worked properly.

    If you have the Norton security suite installed, you must download the Windows 10 update from Norton (or your ISP)

    Cannot download apps from Windows Store

    PS I am not using a VPN or proxy but I do have Norton Security which has a Firewall ---- which has not caused problems in the past.

    My subscriptions were due anyway so I upgraded to Premium and I now get all my tech support free of charge. I have downloaded the VPN and the Premium and everything is running smoothly.

    Swarfega, I have already downloaded both WiFi security (VPN) and Premium Security from Norton yesterday. Once I discovered I had to turn off and turn back on my hub, everything went smoothly, no problems and it all looks good.
