Windows 10: Norwegian bokmål got randomly added to my list of keyboards

I'm from sweden and have english set as my windows language but have added swedish in the list of preffered languages so I can still use a swedish keyboard when I feel like it, school assignments and texting friends, and today as I switched keyboards theres a new one on the list, Norwegian bokmål, and I have no idea why its there. I don't have norwegian set as any type of language or timezone or anything so I also don't know what to delete to get it to go away. Generally super confused.

I appreciate your effort on this. I understand that you see Norwegian keyboard when you switch between the input languages. As you have checked the installed keyboard languages using PowerShell and didn’t find the keyboard language, I suggest you to
refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below and see if you are able to find the keyboard language:

1. Press Windows key + R, to open
   Run dialog box.
   
2. Type lpksetup and click on
   OK.
   
3. Click on Uninstall display languages.
   
4. If you find Norwegian keyboard listed, click on it and click on
   Next.
   
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to remove the language pack.

US keyboard added randomly

The install, and system language, is in US English.

Preferred language is "US English".

I can mention that I previously had "UK English" as install language and preferred language (previous Windows installs), and in those cases "US English keyboard" also randomly got added.

I'll try your suggestions, and give feedback on how it went.

 

US keyboard added randomly

Using Method 2:

Running '' showed I had two language packs installed 'Native' and 'en-US' (en-US was current prefered and display language); this is as it should be.

After I ran 'Set-WinUserLanguageList [Native]' and rebooted the computer to remove the 'US English' language pack you could say the problem was stil present.

Instead of only having a phantom "US Keyboard" I had a phantom languange pack, namely "English (USA) (US keyboard)" and "English (USA) (Local keyboard)".

In the "Language preferences" window only my Native language was installed.

I added the US English laguage pack back, and then removed US keyboard.

I did a reboot, but this only made the phantom US keyboard to reappear (phantom as in unlisted in settings but listed in [Win]+[Space] key combonation). I tried a few times, but each time I just chose "Reboot" the US keyboard reappeared. When I chose "Shutdown"
and then rebooted the omputer the US keyboard was not listed.

In the end uninstalling, and reinstalling English languagepack using Method 2 didn't fixed the problem. A phantom US Keyboard listed on "English Language (USA)" still appears at random times.

Note: I have previously run "United Kingdom English" and then "US keyboard" was added to that languagepack at random times. When I had both "US English" and "UK English" languagepack installed the "US Keyboard" was added at random times to the "US English"
language. But this could also be related to the order languages was listed in the "Prefered Language".
