Windows 10: Not a question, an urgent suggestion for personal vault.

I mistakenly activated it following the information video, thinking the video was going to tell me a lot more about what is was and how it would work first. It did not. Instead I now find I am permanently signed up to Personal Vault with no option to remove it or disable it. I tried to extend the shutoff time to 4 hours, but that did not work. This feature now stops ALL syncing across ALL folders after only 20 minutes. This is a really incompetent coding. Only Personal Vault should stop syncing, not ALL files. This is a fatal flaw that should have a simple fix with a competent coder. I reall

OneDrive Personal Vault - accessing from Android device

I am trying to access my OneDrive Personal Vault using my Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone.
Whatever I try I end up with a screen telling me to create a Personal Vault, rather than opening the existing one, which was in fact the 'starting point'.

Steps taken:
- sign in using my Outlook account
- select verification method (send a code to my gmail account)
- paste that into the verification screen

After clicking [Verify] I get this "Create a Personal Vault"-screen.

Any suggestions?

OneDrive Personal Vault corrupt on Windows 11 Error Code: 0x8004100e

I already did that. A couple of times. Most recently, as follow-on steps to your recommendation to delete my Personal Vault permanantly:

1. Followed your steps to permanently delete Personal Vault on OneDrive web
   
2. On my laptop:
   
   1. Disabled OneDrive backups
      
   2. Unlink this PC
      
   3. Uninstalled OneDrive application
      
   4. Deleted OneDrive folder
      
   5. Rebooted
      
   6. Reinstalled OneDrive
      
   7. Logged back in and retried Personal Vault - same error

Mi name is Javier and I'm going to suggest you to follow the following steps:

Disable Personal Vault

Disabling Personal Vault permanently deletes any files that are in your Personal Vault at the time you disable it. You won't be able to recover these files later.

1. In your OneDrive, select Settings Settings: update your profile, install software and connect it to the cloud > Options, and then select Personal Vault from the left navigation.

2. Select the Disable Personal Vault slider to disable Personal Vault.

3. If you're sure you want to disable Personal Vault and delete all files and folders inside Personal Vault, select Disable.

4. Because disabling Personal Vault deletes your files and you won't be able to restore them, we ask you one more time. If you're sure, select Disable again.
