    Hi all,For my laptop Lenovo Thinkpad X13 Yoga Gen 2 I have not been able to change my PIN, setup a password, and my fingerprint does not work either and I cannot recalibrate it. This issue has been happening for over a year now, but I didn't reach out onto here yet. Currently, a lot of my close friends and family know my PIN, and my main issue is with changing it. I cannot change it, as the 'Change PIN' and 'Remove' buttons are blacked out. It always says: 'Something went wrong. Try again later.' This message has popped up for a year, so it doesn't really make sense. Anyways, is there a way

    Microsoft Account PIN and password

    We appreciate the screenshot that you provided. to start troubleshooting the issue with you logins, we suggest that you follow the steps below on how login pin goes back to password:

    • Click Start menu and go to Settings.
    • In Settings, click the Accounts icon.
    • Click on Sign-in options.
    • Change both your password and pin one by one.
    Let us know how it goes.

    Pin fingerprint login but no account no network

    I was not able to log on to laptop w fingerprint nor pin. Was able to log on with microsoft account password.

    it does not have available networks, no internet

    it does not have account info where i could reset pin

    I have added a local account with password and security questions

    need to figure out hiw to get account settings gixed and determine what else might be broken

    Unable to Access Windows - PIN and Fingerprint Issues

    Hello,

    I am experiencing issues accessing my Windows account due to problems with the PIN and fingerprint login. Here are the steps I followed and the issues encountered:

    1. I entered an incorrect PIN several times.
    2. I decided to change the PIN. I successfully logged into my account. and attempted to change the PIN, but an error occurred during the process.
    3. Now, I am unable to log in using the PIN, and it is blocked for 2 hours.
    4. I am offered the option to use fingerprint authentication, but it does not work.
    5. I am not given the option to log in using my password or account credentials, even though I logged in with them when attempting to change the PIN.
    How can I regain access to Windows?
