Windows 10: Not able to create facial scanner

I had set up my facial scanner on my laptop but few days later I had to delete the account. On my new account when I tried creating the facial scanner I wasn’t able to do it as the system asked me to delete my previous facial recognition from the older account. But I have already deleted all the data from the previous account and hence I am not able to create my facial scanner right now. How do I fix this? Also my laptop has been blinking due to this. Can someone help me fix this situation?

We need to do further investigation on your concern so that we will know why the facial recognition quit working:

• Have you recently made any changes/updates prior to this issue?
• Is there an error message when you try to sign using facial recognition?
• What is the make and model of your computer?

In the meantime, I would suggest that you perform the troubleshooting steps in this

trying to turn off the Facial Recognition feature for Windows Hello or for the
Windows 10 Camera app?

If you are requesting to turn off the Facial Recognition feature for Windows Hello, you can follow these steps:

• Go to Settings.
• Select Accounts.
• Click Sign-in options.
• Under Picture password, click Remove.

However, we have yet to include the option to turn off Facial Recognition feature in Windows 10 Camera app. We suggest that you

• Open the Windows 10 Camera app.
• Click the Gear icon located at the upper right corner of the screen.

• Is the scanner detected under Devices?
• Were you able to see the scanner on the Device Manager?
• Have you installed the latest driver for the scanner?
