Windows 10: not able to disable driving signing requirement

I'm trying to install a program on Windows 10, from several years ago, and getting the error "A digitally signed driver is required." I looked up how to disable this requirement, and followed the steps.

Shift-Shutdown

Selecting configuration option for startup configurations, reboot

Hitting F7 once I get to the options screen

reboot

And I still get the error while trying to install the program. I tried this a few times to no avail.

Hi Seth,

To isolate this matter, have you checked in the
Sign-in options
if the
Require sign-in
is
disable? If not, just go to
Start > Settings > Accounts > Require sign-in > Select Never
from the drop down menu to disable.

How to disable Ctrl+Alt+Delete log-in requirement in Windows 10

I have tried disabling the Ctrl+Alt+Delete log-in requirement by typing netplwiz into the search bar and going to the advanced tab. I see the checkbox in the Security sign-in groupbox, but
I am not able to uncheck the checkbox. Is there any other way to do this?

 

I did some more searching, and the problem appears to be a quirk of the program installer and turns out to be harmless. So I'm marking this "solved."
