Windows 10: not able to download anything off of minecraft store or game pass for pc

I just finally got my new pc friday, so I'm trying to download games that I have through pc game pass because i own game pass ultimate on xbox. Currently I am running into an issue where every time I attempt to download any games from either the microsoft store or the xbox gamebar it keeps saying there is an issue on the microsoft side. An example is when I try to install the minecraft launcher. I open it up, click install, and I get an error message saying 0xUnknownAppInstall. If anyone knows any fixes please let me know because I've been looking stuff up and nothing so far has seemed to wo

Minecraft from xbox to pc

So I just downloaded minecraft on my xbox but for some reason it's not showing up in my games in the play store on my pc. I can play it on xbox and according to the mojang website, I should be able to play it on both my xbox and my pc. These are the steps
that it says to take:

For Windows10:

1. Using your Microsoft account, sign into the PC where you want to install your games.
2. Click on the three dots in the Windows Store next to your profile pic.
3. Go to My Library. If you already own the game, you can download it from there.

 

Windows Store (Xbox Game Pass for PC (beta))

Recently purchased Xbox Game Pass for PC (beta) and can not download certain games that are included in the pass. When viewing some games in the Windows Store and placing the mouse over the install button it will show a red X and will have no response when
clicked. Other games have been downloaded with no issue. I have already tried WSreset.exe and have 200gb of free storage space for downloads.

Any suggestions for fixes or troubleshooting would be much appreciated.

I understand that you have already redeemed the code for Minecraft. In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below.

1. Are you still using Minecraft Windows 10 Edition on your old PC?
   
2. What happens when you try to download and install Minecraft Windows 10 Edition on your new PC from the Microsoft store?
   
3. Are you receiving any error code or error message?
   
4. Have you logged into the Microsoft store on your new PC, using the same account from which the Minecraft code was redeemed?
   

Meanwhile, I would suggest check the ‘Order History’ in your Microsoft account to see if the code is already redeemed and linked your account. To do that you can refer the article to

Redeem a gift card or code to your Microsoft, under ‘Troubleshooting’, please refer the section ‘The code was already redeemed’. After this, make sure to check if you have logged into Microsoft Store on your new PC, using
the same Microsoft account through which the code was redeemed.

If the code is redeemed, linked to your account and if you have logged in with the same account in Microsoft Store on your system, but you are still not able to find the option to download and install the game, I would suggest you
to follow the steps below and check if it is helpful to you.

Steps to reset Windows Store:

1. Click on the Start button, type
   cmd, right-click on it and select
   Run as administrator.
   
2. Type wsreset.exe and press
   Enter.
   
3. The execution of this command may take some time, after which, you can check if you are able to install the game.
