Discus and support Not able to download VC_redist.x86 in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; Hi I was trying to downloading VC_redist.x86 and when it stopped.     Not able to download VC_redist.x86


    Hi I was trying to downloading VC_redist.x86 and when it stopped. It couldn't find X86 MinimumRuntime. Another error popped up saying, "The older version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 X86 Minimum Runtime - 14.26.2870 cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group"

    I've been trying to fix this for over 3 hours and just gave up.

    Please help me.

    vc_redist x86 will not instal

    I did a troubleshoot on Windows Update and got the following report error [virus software was off]
    Not able to download VC_redist.x86 f04206c9-ad7a-4eb7-aa78-92b12593dc17?upload=true.jpg


    and
    Not able to download VC_redist.x86 02af064c-1959-4d3f-b8e0-2df414846612?upload=true.jpg


    it also failed to send error report of the Microsoft Update Troubleshooter . So it is a bit of a can of worms as you can see. Would be very grateful if you could advise. this is taking lots of my time.

    We would like to know more about your issue. Please answer the following questions below:

    • When does the issue usually occur?
    • Which 3rd party software requires you to update Visual C++ Redistributable?
    • Have you tried to uninstall Microsoft Visual C+ + from the control panel and reinstall it?
    • Have you installed the latest Windows 7 updates?

    We would be glad to help you with the issue you are facing today. I understand the difficulty with the problem.

    I would suggest you to check if Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86 is installed in your computer.

    To check follow the steps:

    • Type Default programs & select programs & features.
    • Check if Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
      is installed.
    If yes suggest you to uninstall & reinstall Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
    & check if the issue persists.

    If the issue persists I would suggest you to contact the game manufacturer.
