for our .dot software we need to install sql but NOT ABLE TO INSTALL Microsoft® SQL Server® Compact 4.0 SP1 IN WINDOW 11 ERROR 25541. failed to open XML file C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.5072 7 CONFIG machine.config, system error: -2147024786we have tried Method 1: Replace .NetFramework config file. Browse to the folder C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG\ , Right click the machine.config file rename it to machine.config.old Once renamed, right click on machine.config.default select Copy and Paste it in the same folder. You will see the file name “machin

SQL Compact 3.5

I just starting with Windows Mobile 6.x



I have installed on my PC

• 
  Visual Studio 2008 professional
  
• 
  SQL Server Compact ed. 3.5
  

and update with "SQL Server Compact 3.5 Service Pack 1 for Windows Desktop "

I test on HTC Diamond with WM6.1

At first time on my phone occour this error : "Can't find PInvoke DLL 'sqlceme35.dll',

I resolve it installing "\Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition\v3.5\Devices\wce500\armv4i\sqlce.wce5.armv4i.CAB"
now it is OK !

but now I have the same error on emulator !!

at the row :

SqlCeEngine en = new SqlCeEngine(@"Data Source=\My Documents\test.sdf");


Have any idea ?
