Windows 10: Not able to install the latest patch KB5039895

In my windows update settings it says that the 2024-07 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64 KB5039895 is ready to be downloaded, so i downloaded it but during installation it failed giving install error 0x80004005 I have tried restarting my PC and looking in my bios to find a problem but my troubleshooting has not worked. also i tried to install it manually but that also failed

You can also try to use the “Show or Hide Updates” troubleshooter to hide the problematic update. Windows Update won’t install hidden updates. Run the troubleshooter then please try to hide the KB5039895 update that will show in the list. You may try restarting your pc if it helps.

I'm running the latest drivers (358.87) and I haven't experienced any of those issues, I played cod 3 with no problems, offhand I'd say when you updated the drivers there was a error somewhere, most likely when installing
the patched driver, were any errors listed in the Install.cmd text output? My best suggestion is to reinstall the latest official drivers (358.87) and then reinstall the latest patched driver paying close attention to
any errors that might be listed from the text output from the Install.cmd.
